Donald W. Jones, Lieutenant General (USA, Retired)

Jones has over 36 years of leadership, management, and administrative experience. In his military career, Jones served as Commanding General, Total Army Personnel Agency; Deputy Director, Secretary of Defense for military manpower; and as Assistant Division Commander of the Army’s 1st Calvary Division.
Most recently, Jones participated in conducting an evaluation of the response to the World Trade Center Disaster for the Office of Domestic Preparedness, Homeland Security Department. He also served as special assistant to the President of Georgetown University for emergency preparedness after nine years of executive leadership roles with the American National Red Cross.
Jones earned a B.S. in Business Administration from St. Benedict’s College and an M.A. in Management from Central Michigan University. Jones also participated in Harvard University’s Senior Executive Program.
