Every year we donate equipment and supplies and send one of our dental teams to participate in Operation Lone Star. The state funded initiative provides free health and dental care services for the residents of Texas that cannot afford traditional healthcare.
This year, the event took us out to Laredo, TX to provide much needed dental services to the residents of Texas. A line began to form as early as 2 AM before dental exams began.
The folks that run Operation Lone Star have reported, according to their preliminary estimates, that a total of 2,679 people received dental, medical, and preventative care services. A huge success by our standards, and we're looking forward to participating once again next year!
